Having undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment, the Palace Hotel has relaunched its grand conference, meetings and event spaces.

The transformation of all 17 conference, meeting and private dining rooms sees the spaces fully restored and upgraded to combine modern technology and contemporary décor with the classic Edwardian features evident in the majority of the venue’s characterful function space. The hotel now has capacity for up to 1,500 delegates when using the Ballroom and Whitworth Rooms combined.

These include the newly restored art-deco Ballroom, a grand room that accommodates up to 1,000 seated guests and boasts impressive high ceilings and natural light as well as an ornate design that has been lovingly protected throughout its upgrade.

In addition, the brand new Whitworth Room, whilst retaining its original tiled features and striking columns, has also been fully-renovated to provide a welcome new pre-function space for the Ballroom or for private hire for up to 450 guests.

On the second floor of the hotel, and reached by an ornate marble staircase, The Directors’ Room offers a traditional and imposing, wood-panelled event space  and has been fully revamped to provide an ideal setting for board meetings and exclusive parties and receptions for up to 100 delegates.

Located in the heart of the vibrant conference quarter of Manchester, the Palace Hotel is just a minute’s walk from Oxford Road Train Station and close to all major transport links including Piccadilly Train Station, M60, M62, M6 and Manchester Airport.
